R. Miller, Perry, Lundqvist Named NHL's 'Three Stars'

Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller, Ducks right wing Corey Perry and Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending March 27. Miller helped the Sabres strengthen their hold on an Eastern Conference playoff berth by posting a 3-0-0 record, including two shutouts, a 0.67 goals-against average and .976 save percentage. Miller stopped 83 of 85 shots last week, beginning with a 31-save performance in a 2-0 victory over the Canadiens March 22. Perry tallied a League-leading five goals and ranked second in overall scoring with six points as the Ducks climbed to seventh place in the Western Conference standings by winning two of three games. Perry recorded goals in each game, beginning with a single tally in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Stars March 23. Lundqvist posted a 2-0-1 record, 0.32 goals-against average, .987 save percentage and two shutouts as the Rangers moved closer to securing an Eastern Conference playoff berth by earning five of a possible six points. Lundqvist stopped 77 of 78 shots, beginning with a 22-save performance in a 1-0 victory over the Panthers March 22.

Pavelski, Emery, Subban Named NHL 'Three Stars'

Sharks center Joe Pavelski, Ducks goaltender Ray Emery and Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending March 20. Pavelski led the League in scoring with 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in four games as the Sharks won three of four starts to retain first place in the Pacific Division. Emery continued his successful comeback from hip surgery by posting a 2-0-0 record, 0.99 goals-against average and .968 save percentage last week, helping the Ducks jump to eighth place in the Western Conference playoff race. Subban topped NHL defensemen in scoring with six points (four goals, two assists), highlighted by a milestone performance at Minnesota, as the Canadiens won twice in four starts and moved within one point of the first-place Bruins in the Northeast Division.

Holtby, D. Sedin, Perry Named NHL 'Three Stars'

Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby, Canucks left wing Daniel Sedin and Ducks right wing Corey Perry have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending March 13. Holtby posted a 4-0-0 record, 1.05 goals-against average, .965 save percentage and one shutout as the Capitals moved into second place in the Eastern Conference. Sedin led the League in scoring with eight points (three goals, five assists) as Vancouver won all three starts and remained first in the overall NHL standings. Perry led all goal scorers with five and added two assists as Anaheim won twice in three starts. Perry scored in each game, beginning with two goals and one assist in a 5-2 victory over the Rangers March 9.
